• Travel documentation

  • Valid ID

All passengers on DAE flights are required to present official identification documents at check-in and/or at the gate. This is required in order to allow our staff to verify that the passenger who is booked on the flight is actually the passenger who is checking in, and that he/she is in possession of the documents required by immigration services.

Travelers are advised at all times to verify currently applicable regulations with the immigration authorities, pending any change to policy following the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles.

In all other cases, a valid passport is required for travel but, travelers are advised to verify regulations of country of destination as these may vary. DAE accepts no responsibility for any expenses incurred by passengers failing to carry and present a valid identification document, including reasons such as loss or expiration.

Children (including infants) must have their own passport or ID card unless they are included on the passport with whom they are travelling.

  • Visa

In many cases, if a passenger is travelling to a country other than the country of residence, immigration authorities will require the passenger to show return or onward tickets and sufficient means of support. In addition, passengers of certain nationalities will be required to obtain a Visa prior to arrival.

Passport, visa and health advice may be obtained via the IATA Travel Centre or local immigration authorities.

It is the responsibility of each passenger to present valid required travel documentation and visa that comply with all laws, regulations, orders, demands and travel requirements of countries to be flown from, into, or through which you transit. Failure to adhere to immigration requirements may result in refusal of entry upon arrival, penalties for change to tickets and other unforeseen expenses.
