Which payment methods are available at flydae.com to purchase my ticket?
On flydae.com you can pay with Master Card and Visa. Please keep in mind that the cardholder must be a passenger in order to purchase tickets online. Cash, debit card, credit card and payment by checks can be made at the DAE ticket offices.

How can I get a proof of payment?
If you purchased an e-ticket, the Trip Summary and Receipt should be sufficient proof of payment. The fare, taxes and any surcharges are listed on the receipt.

Do I have to pay for my tickets immediately?
Bookings made online via www.flydae.com must be purchased instantly. Reservations made through DAE ticket offices or IATA travel agents would offer you the possibility depending on the fare type of up to 7 days prior departure for ticket purchase.

How can I change my ticket? Is there a penalty for changing my ticket?
You may cancel or change your ticket depending on the fare conditions that apply. If changing is possible, we may charge a cancellation fee, depending on the fare type purchased. The fare conditions for your ticket are stated in your booking confirmation.
Please contact the DAE call centre or ticket offices to change or cancel your ticket.

How can I get a refund if I did not receive the service I paid for?
If your journey did not go according to plan, DAE will offer her most sincere apologies.
If we cancel a flight, fail to operate a flight reasonably according to schedule or cease to operate a route, the amount of the refund shall be:
1 if no portion of the Ticket has been used, an amount equal to the fare paid plus any associated taxes, fees and charges paid and collected by us. Any taxes, fees or charges paid for by you to other agencies are a matter entirely between you and them ;
2 if a portion of the Ticket has been used, the refund will be not less than the difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare for travel between the points for which the Ticket has been used plus any associated taxes, fees and charges paid (and collected by us) in respect of that part of the journey not undertaken.

What is the free baggage allowance permitted by DAE?
The amount of check-in luggage you may bring is stated on your e-ticket. Depending on your destination, your free baggage allowance varies from 20 kg up to a maximum of 30 kg.
An excess baggage fee per kilogram/per destination is applied at the respective airports if the free baggage allowance is surpassed.

Can I travel on DAE during my pregnancy?
In general, there is no objection to traveling by air during pregnancy. Nevertheless, it is a good idea to consult your physician, midwife or obstetrician first. During the last 4 weeks of your pregnancy, when you are 36 weeks pregnant, you should not embark on a flight.
If you are expecting more than one baby, or if you have had any complications during your pregnancy, you should always consult your physician first. In these cases, you should avoid flying once you are 32 weeks pregnant.

Does DAE provide service for children traveling alone?
Children aged between 5 and 14 years old can travel alone under our Unaccompanied Minor service. The service is mandatory for all children in this age group who are traveling alone. The service is optional for children aged 15 to 17, and can be reserved if desired.
You can entrust us with the care of your child. We will ensure that he/she gets the care and attention he/she needs while en route. He/she is in good hands from the moment that you register your child at the check-in desk, to the moment that we hand him/her over to the person that you have authorized to pick him/her up.
Children aged 4 and below must always travel with a parent or adult aged at least 18 years.

How much will it cost to transport my pet?
To transport your pet, you have to pay a fare that depends on your destination. The fare is equal to the weight of the kennel and pet times the excess baggage rate per kilogram applicable to that particular destination.
Make sure to make a reservation for the transport of your pet by contacting the ticket offices of DAE prior departure.

What must I take into account prior to transporting pets?
When transporting your pet on a flight, either as baggage or cargo, you will have to consider that certain countries have restricted the entry of pets.
Pets must also be transported in a suitable container; must have received the proper inoculations, and must have the required documents.

Does DAE offer group discounts?
Yes DAE does work with special group rates. These can be requested directly via our ticket offices, call centers or via an (IATA) travel agent.

Is a valid passport needed for travel on all DAE flights?
A valid passport is at all times needed for travel on DAE flights. For some nationalities a valid passport and visa is required. Please keep in mind that passport requirements are set by the individual countries served by DAE. For up to date information of required documents needed for the destinations served by DAE, you are kindly requested to contact the respective embassy of the particular destination that you are planning to visit.
